HELMSWOOD CORPORATE LETS BUSINESS MODEL

Overview

Our business solves many problems for both agents and landlords, primarily because we take on the work and hassle they would normally have to deal with over a 3 to 5 year period, whilst they still receive the income.

We alleviate the issues caused by new rules for landlords and agents, whilst being compliant ourselves.

We seek to control and manage the property with a contract in place that all parties will profit from and are happy with.

This type of arrangement is often referred to as a company let, management or ‘rent to rent’ agreement. This means that the landlord remains the owner of the property, the agreement is in place with Helmswood, the landlord and the agent. Helmswood pays the rent to the landlord via the agent.

As an example, here is a link to Martin & Co Aberdeen; the director, Eduardo Prato, has this type of agreement for his business and encourages landlords and agents to enjoy its great advantages.

Our Corporate Lets Business

We work with organisations in the Crawley/Gatwick area to find suitable accommodation for their professional management teams or individuals who may be visiting the area on a short-term basis – for several nights or weeks on a project or to go through a training course.

Historically these companies have always put their employees up in hotels, but this has proven very expensive and the feedback from their employees is that they do not like staying in hotels for nights on end; they prefer a “home from home.”
